careers. We provide our alumni with a full-service career development program that helps alumni map out and plan their careers
PROGRAM GOALS
Provide guidance and support to help alumni map out their path to post-collegiate careers
Use the SEED Project network of professionals to facilitate internship and job opportunities
Continue each alumni's leadership development and training and give them opportunities to mentor current SEED Project students

SEED Rise
Launched in January 2013, SEED Rise is an after-school program providing academic and athletic enrichment for middle school-aged girls and boys.
We select high-potential boys and girls from local middle schools and use basketball as a hook to engage them in subject-specific tutoring, life skills and leadership development programming. Our current program serves 70 students in Thies, Senegal.
In addition, as part of their leadership development curriculum, our SEED Academy students serve as coaches and mentors for the SEED Rise students.

SEED Academy
Established in 2002, SEED Academy is a boarding-school environment for up to 40 high school-aged boys and girls providing academic support, team-based basketball training, English language classes, and leadership development curriculum.
SEED ACADEMY GOALS
100% of students will either graduate high school or vocational school
100% of students will either matriculate to college or be employed within 6-months of completing school
Provide promising students the opportunity to study at top universities in Africa, Europe, or the United States
Develop global citizens committed to contributing positively to their communities, Senegal and Africa
